Peppertree Engineering engagements are designed around the needs of each customer and generally focused on the commercialization of technology:
- Identify specific market needs and opportunities;
- Conceptualize, create and develop uniquely effective designs that are technically feasible to manufacture, easy to use, and that balance the pursuit of technical perfection with get-to-market schedules;
- Prototype, install and test newly developed products;
- Produce and package low-volume specialty products.
For product development, Peppertree works with each customer to design programs with appropriate phases and milestones, and clear statements of work. A heavy emphasis on regular communication ensures programs stay relevant when business priorities shift, and that there are no surprises.
Peppertree Engineering works with customers to ensure that all intellectual property is identified and protected in a timely manner.
In some cases, product developments will evolve into low volume specialty production of test equipment or instrumentation that can be done by Peppertree. In other cases, transfer to a contract manufacturer is appropriate, and Peppertree supports that transfer with documentation, training, and on-going support to ensure quality.
